About polar graph paper
Polar paper plots relationships that depend on angle and distance rather than x and y. Radar charts, antenna radiation patterns, wind roses and mandala layouts are all easier to draw on a polar grid than on a square one.
Choosing a size
The spacing control sets the distance between concentric rings. Ten millimetres produces four or five usable rings on Letter paper; five millimetres gives a denser grid for detailed pattern work.
